Community Partnerships
No foundation succeeds alone. Behind every piece of equipment purchased, every scholarship awarded, and every staff appreciation event hosted is a network of relationships — businesses, organizations, and individuals who have decided that the health of this community is worth investing in.
The Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital Foundation places tremendous value on those partnerships. Not simply as a fundraising strategy, but as a reflection of a core belief: that a healthy community is one that is built together.
Community partnerships with the Foundation take many forms. Some are event-based, with local businesses sponsoring the annual Golf Tournament, Fall Fundraising Gala, or Staff Appreciation Week. Others are more direct — a business donating a prize for a live auction, a local professional volunteering their time, or a company choosing to direct their charitable giving toward local healthcare. Each of these contributions, regardless of its form, makes a tangible difference.
One exciting new partnership for 2026 is with Freson Bros, a valued institution in the Fort Saskatchewan community. On July 25th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Foundation and Freson Bros will co-host a Community BBQ — an event designed to bring people together, introduce the Foundation to community members who may not yet be familiar with our work, and raise awareness about how local donations make a direct difference at Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital. It is the kind of partnership that creates shared value: the Foundation gains visibility and support, Freson Bros demonstrates their commitment to the community, and the people of Fort Saskatchewan enjoy a memorable afternoon while contributing to something meaningful.
This is just the beginning. As the Foundation continues to grow, we are actively seeking new partners who share our values and want to make a measurable difference in the health outcomes of Fort Saskatchewan residents. Whether you represent a small local business, a larger corporation with a community investment mandate, or an organization seeking a meaningful cause to support, we welcome the conversation.
Community partnerships are more than a transaction. They are a statement — that your business or organization is genuinely invested in the place you operate and the people who are your customers, employees, and neighbours. When you partner with the FSCHF, that statement is backed by real, demonstrable results.
